The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 showcases a popular feature on a green dial. IWC’s perpetual calendar, created by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s, automatically adjusts for different month lengths and leap years and can be easily set using a single crown. For the first time, this feature is part of the 82000-calibre movement family. The watch displays the date, month, and weekday on three subdials at 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 9 o’clock. It also shows the moon phase and leap year. Thanks to ceramic parts, the IWC-made 82650 calibre’s Pellaton winding system provides a 60-hour power reserve. The watch, with a 42 mm diameter, features a stainless steel case, a green dial, and rhodium-plated hands and markers. It is finished with a green leather strap from Santoni, giving it a timeless and elegant look.
